My name is Marcus Lau. I am 12 years old and have been training with Authentic Taekwondo since 2015. In this time, I have made so many new friends and unforgettable memories. I tested for my First Poom Black Belt in December of 2018, alongside my friends and masters. The achievement I am most proud of throughout these years has been joining the leadership team. When Master Farah asked me to join, I was honoured and excited to be a part of the incredible team of junior leaders and instructors. I feel that I can help Authentic and its students on a whole new level.
Life isn’t a single road, there are many paths we can take to feel successful and reach your goals.

Hi, my name is Grayson Planert. I am 10 years old and have been training in taekwondo for 7 years now. I achieved my 1st degree black belt in 2021, and I am currently in the leadership team.
I started taekwondo because my parents thought it would be good for my health and to try something new. I started taekwondo because some of my relatives live in South Korea, and taekwondo is the national sport there. Another reason why I started Taekwondo is my parents thought it would be good to learn a martial art if I ever need to use self defence.
The reason why I joined the leadership team is I wanted to give back to the taekwondo community. Authentic Taekwondo has helped me with my patterns, self defense and kibon steps. I also joined the leadership team because I have a little brother named Keaton, and I want to help him achieve his black belt.
I am 9 years old and I have been in Taekwondo since I was 4 years old. I am a black belt and on the leadership team. I like being on the leadership team because I like to help everyone and teach them new things. I like seeing everyone for in person classes

I started my Taekwondo journey at the age of 5 years old and since then, I have been dedicated to learn and train with the help of Master Farah. Whenever in the dojang, I feel a great sense of happiness wash over me and I love it. During my journey through Taekwondo, they taught me how to become a better person and boosted my confidence, my respect to others, and discipline. My passion is origami and I love to read non-fiction books.

My name is Daniel Lee, and I joined Authentic Taekwondo about 7 years ago. I became a black belt quite recently, in August 2021. I am now a Junior Leader and work to make sure your child is able to learn efficiently while they are at Authentic Taekwondo. From the day I joined to the skill level I am at now, I have made so many memories while training at Authentic Taekwondo and have made many, many new friends. Getting a Black Belt was already, to me, one of the biggest achievements within my life and being part of the Junior Leadership Team just made me feel like I had earned this title and had shown me how far I had come on my way through each belt. I always keep in mind to myself that the road I travel on is very much dependent on how I wanted to guide it, and I hope to be able to help guide kids to the path me and the other Junior Leaders, Instructors, and Masters have gone on as well.
My name is Jayden Thich. I started my taekwondo journey when I was five years old. I achieved my First Degree Black Belt in August 2021. It is my honor to be part of the leadership team at Authentic Taekwondo. My next goal is to become a Second Degree Black Belt and beyond. Besides self- defense, Master Farah has taught me a lot, including these five qualities: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit. Outside of the Dojang, I enjoy playing the piano, rock climbing and building plastic model kits. When I grow up, I would like to become a mechanical engineer.
