This Privacy Notice for Authentic Taekwondo Inc (doing business as ab) ("we," "us," or "our"), which is powered by Shopify, describes how and why we might access, collect, store, use, and/or share ("process") your personal information when you use our services ("Services"), including when you:

  • Engage with us in other related ways, including any marketing or events

HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

  • Transactional Purposes. We process your information to fulfill the primary reason you engaged with us. This includes creating and securing your member account, processing payments and orders, sending class reminders, and any service-related notifications.

 

  • To respond to user inquiries/offer support to users. We may process your information to respond to your inquiries and solve any potential issues you might have with the requested service.

 

  • To send you marketing and promotional communications. We may process the personal information you send to us for our marketing purposes, if this is in accordance with your marketing preferences. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON TO PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We may share information in specific situations; however, we do not share customer opt-in information with affiliates or third parties for marketing purposes.   • Business Transfers: We may share or transfer your information (excluding text messaging originator opt-in data and consent) in connection with any merger, sale of company assets, or financing.

  • Subcontractors and Support: Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service or order fulfillment, is permitted.

  • Mobile Data Protections: No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except for aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.

  • Strict Exclusion: All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.


 


DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?


We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to gather information when you interact with our Services. Some online tracking technologies help us maintain the security of our Services and your account, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and assist with basic site functions.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than necessary for the fulfillment of the purposes outlined.


When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not intentionally collect Personal Information from children. If you are the parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us at the address below to request deletion.
